Smokey the Bear is turning 65!  Doesn't he look great?  Join him for his birthday party bash and help him celebrate 65 years of preventing unwanted human caused fires; provide fire prevention/education/mitigation information to the public; great afternoon for all (family friendly fun!)
When:  August 8, 2009; 1-4 pm

Where:  Limbach Park; Monument, CO

Who's hosting:  Federal, State, and Local organizations

What is there to do:  Junior Forest Ranger Camp (fun, hands on activities to get kids interested in the outdoors; local vendors; indoor/outdoor fire safety info booths; drawing for fabulous prizes; various fire apparatus; birthday cake and Smokey)

Needs:  Volunteers; funding/non-monetary donations (Cakes, porta potties (2-3), prizes for the drawing, balloons); local vendors (limited space first come first serve basis)
